Passion Of The Darkside Timeline

Passion Of The Darkside is set in 50 ABY. The Darksword Empire has fallen. Barack Darksword is dead, killed by Darth Sampaga in 22 ABY. Sampaga in turn has been destroyed by the Jedi Grandmaster Astelard Fisto who died as well in the duel a year later. Darth Ghostrider and the rest of the Sith of the time disappeared into obscurity. The fall of the Sith allowed the Jedi to regroup and gain power once again.

The Sith and Jedi now split the galaxy in two with each controlling a portion. The Jedi are part of the Jedi Democratic Republic which is a democracy with a Senate body of member nations. They are led by Astelard Fisto's trusted apprentice who rose rapidly in the ranks of the Jedi due to her skill and wisdom. While the Imperial Sith Empire is a dictatorship ruled by the Dark Lord of the Sith and his cohorts. Going by the Sith philosophy of the 'Rule Of One' he has a Council of Moffs to assist him. He is powerful in the Darkside and extraordinarily shrewd. The two leaders and the portions of space they guide are rarely at peace. Battles wage across space both in the air and on the ground with each faction attempting to gain an upper hand.

The two sides seek superiority in weaponry, military might, Force Powers and Mystical prowness. It is a continual race to achieve the desired goals. The Jedi practice the Light side of the Force and their code dictates their conduct. It is as follows-

  Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy.
  Jedi use their powers to defend and to protect.
  Jedi respect all life, in any form.
  Jedi serve others rather than ruling over them, for the good of the galaxy.
  Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training.

A second version- Together they are the blueprint for the beliefs of the Jedi Order.
  There is no emotion, there is peace.
  There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
  There is no passion, there is serenity.
  There is no chaos, there is harmony.
  There is no death, there is the Force.

There is also a Code Of The Sith.  In it are embodied the principles of the Sith path to power. They practice the Dark Side Of The Force


Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

There also existed a version of the code in Sith language, known as Qotsisajak—literally "Way of the Sith doctrine".

One side seeks to protect and defend while the other seeks to control or destroy. Passion of The Darkside is the saga of the triumphs and defeats of two entities striving to make their place in a world of vast creative possibilities. Together we shall write the story of their endeavors. As we do, they will be recorded here for all  to behold.

Timeline-

1. 19 BBY-Order 66 is issued by then Supreme Chancellor Palpitine which leads to the Great Jedi Purge and the destruction of the Jedi. Many Jedi are killed, many flee into hiding. Palpitine makes himself Emperor.
2. 4 ABY- Emperor Palpitine is killed by Darth Vader. Darth Vader dies from the effort.
3. 5 ABY- Barack Darksword rises to power and with him his cohort Darth Sampaga. They form the Darksword Empire as the Galactic Empire is in shambles.
4. 7 ABY- The Jedi Order begins to regroup in hidden places forming secret enclaves.
5. 8 ABY- Hecate Darksword is killed by Sampaga and Darth Ghostrider.
6. 9 ABY- Hecate Darksword's death brings about a breach between Sampaga and Darksword which is never repaired.
7. 10 ABY- The JedI Order sets spies among the Sith gaining valuable intelligence.
8. 11 ABY-  The Sith move to contain unrest and in some sectors open rebellion. Unknown to Darksword and Sampaga the unrest is being secretly fueled by the JedI and elements loyal to them.
9. 12. ABY- Astelard Fisto rises to the rank of JedI Grandmaster.
10. 13 ABY- through 20 ABY- The JedI Order gathers systems and sectors loyal to them. They commission weapons and ships from sympathetic corporations. A secret base is formed on Allandor in the Tapani sector. (Also known as the Shapani Sector)
11. 21 ABY- Darth Sampaga clandestinely meets with Darth Ghostrider, Grand Inquisitor Lavey and Darth Lucifer concerning the weakness of  the Darksword Empire and the seeming detachment of the Emperor. The Sith Council grumbles about loss of power. Ghostrider and Sampaga decide to wait a little longer before taking action.
12. 22 ABY- Darth Sampaga, watching as the Darksword Empire becomes embroiled in more and more rebellion decides to act. In an epic duel of the Force he kills Emperor Darksword and seizes power. Some elements loyal to Darksword revolt bringing utter turmoil to the Empire.
13. 23 ABY- The JedI Order seeing their chance makes their move. With lightening speed they take control of several sectors and numerous systems. Then they push forward towards Korriban the heart of Sampaga’s rule.  Astelard Fisto  confronts Darth Sampaga and the two wage a battle for the ages. After many hours of dueling Fisto kills Sampaga but then succumbs to his wounds. The JedI Council takes charge until a new Grandmaster can be elected. The Darksword Empire crumbles. Ghostrider, Lucifer, Lavey and their companions flee the onslaught of the JedI.
14. 24 ABY- From the Sith who are left a new Dark Lord Rises to take command. His name is Apophis and he is a brutal warrior and dictator.  He seemingly retreats then gathers all those loyal to him and then turns assailing the Jedi positions. The JedI are pushed back from Korriban. Each side holds and maintains a certain amount of sectors and systems. They are in stalemate.
15. 25 ABY to 50 ABY- Both sides suffer and endure the Yuuzhan Vong war. Without a Grandmaster for some time the Jedi Council finally elects a new leader. Jedi Master Indigo Skylark rises to Grandmaster. She is older than she looks and the one time apprentice of Fisto. Strong in the Force in particular she has great wisdom. She takes the reins of power and leads the fight against the Yuuzhan Vong.  In the end the Vong are driven out and the Sith Imperial Empire and the JedI Republic remain. They rebuild and the stalemate continues. Intrique and skirmishes abound.
